Bellews Market

Bellews Market is a fantastic produce market near downtown Spartanburg. It has all sorts of produce you can’t find elsewhere, as well as an assortment of jams, jellies, pickles and chow chows. A redesign of Bellews’ existing website was completed, including a one-hour photo shoot, a reworking of its logo from a photo, performed a site migration and built from the ground up a simple eCommerce solution using PayPal as a processor.

Lee Dumas for Greer City Council

Update: I also assisted the campaign for the November 2009 general election. For this campaign I produced an updated website, print design support and other campaign incidentals. The campaign again resulted in an election win for Councilor Dumas.

This Web site was part of a comprehensive campaign package for Lee Dumas, who was running for Greer City Council. It included a Web site, print design support and other campaign incidentals. Dumas came in second in the primary election and won the runoff election.

MeetYourStylist.com

This long-term project was built as a social network specifically for cosmetologists. It includes search functionality for stylists based on specialty and salons in South Carolina (the site has the capacity to branch out to all 50 states when it wants to). The site also includes photos and a ratings system where patrons can rate stylists and salons. I also provided design and graphic support for business cards and advertising place cards.

Full Circle Public Relations

This web site was created for an up-and-coming public relations firm based out of Greenville, SC. The site is largely WordPress-based with some customizations to make the site more usable for the firm. The site also includes Twitter integration. We also used this opportunity to provide some professional photography services for the site as well as later use by the client.

Memorial United Methodist Church

Screen Shot 2013-11-11 at 10.31.00 PMThis is a website adapted from a WordPress theme and powered by the open-source software. Special attention was given to adopting many linkages to Web 2.0 technology, such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, podcasting through iTunes and Google Calendar. The new site provide a much more airy feeling than the previous site and updated information that more accurately reflects the church presently. The site recently launched video from the weekly traditional service.
